Writing Space Installation
Duren, Germany
The Installation materials originated with the video recording and subsequent digitizing of paper in the process of being physically manipulated, folded, cut and distorted. The resulting work was the outcome of projecting the results of the process on a 5m X 10m folded and taught scrim surface suspended between the walls of the gallery space. The sound that accompanied the installation were all recorded during the physical manipulation process during filming. The resulting folds creases and and surfaces of what was now a virtual paper transformed the physical installation into a 'visual' score of a now liquid and transformative immersive realtime environment.
