Asymptote was invited by The Guggenheim Foundation and Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) to join today’s leading architects in the development of the Saadiyat Island Culture District in Abu Dhabi. Asymptote is designing two of the nineteen pavilions in Biennale Park, a feature of the development that will host a range of cultural events including art and architecture biennials. Asymptote’s pavilions are 30,000 and 50,000 square feet in size and house “big box” galleries for the exhibiting and viewing of contemporary art.
